Over $180,000 worth of supplies ships to Haiti!

HBHH makes history by loading it's 1st container to ship to Haiti. It should be on the water in a few days and arrive in Haiti in 1-2 weeks.

HBHH Young Adults group worked hard, along with hard working adults to get the container loaded in 2 hours.

The container is full of school furniture, Kreyol Bibles (their native language), medicine and medical supplies for this summer's Medical Clinic, fabric for the women's center, and furnishing for the Sister's convent and Bishop Chibly's Pastoral Center.

Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Temple Terrace, FL gave us 9 boxes to ship to their new twinning parish, St. Michel de Archange Parish in Dilaire, Haiti. St. Francis Cabrini in Spring Hill, FL gave us 12 boxes to ship to St. Peirre Parish in Terrier Rouge, Haiti. Both of these parishes are in the Fort Liberte Diocese, not that far from St. Suzanne, Haiti.

We are very grateful to everyone that donated items to make this a reality. Thanks also to Food for the Poor for shipping this container for us to Cap Haitian free of charge.

God is good! Hope is on it's way to Haiti! Posted by Picasa

New Club started "HBHH Young Adults"

Young Adults form HBHH Young Adult group.
Posted by PicasaIn February, a group of teens decided to form a group that will help HBHH with some of the needs for Haiti. They have established the following mission statement : "Giving children in Haiti hope for a childhood by helping with their basic needs in all aspects of life."

This group, HBHH Young Adults, has created their own logo. They are currently talking to service groups at the different schools. They have compiled a flyer of items needed in Haiti and are currently collecting these items to ship to Haiti. God Bless these great kids!
